The Cultural and Arts Association BAYANI (Kamnik, Slovenia, Europe) runs courses in both Indian and oriental dance.
SHAKTI, the Bollywood dance group, under the mentorship of Nataša Kočar and Sylvia Valentine, presents Dola Re Dola from Devdas at the Bazar 2009 Dance Festival in Slovenia.

There are 16 dancers in the group - Iris Volkar, Daniela Volkar, Mateja Ločnikar, Urška Grčar, Anja Marinšek, Dalija Sega, Špela Rakovec, Špela Perčič, Katja Urankar, Tamara Plut, Karmen Jelovčan, Živa Gole, Mira Vrankar, Jana Sotlar and Nataša Kočar (as Madhuri) and Sylvia Valentine (as Aishwarya).

Bayani highlights the importance of Classical Indian dance forms (e.g. Bharat Natyam, Kathak) and folk dances (e.g. Bhangra). Western students learn to appreciate aspects of the rich Indian cultural heritage through Bollywood.
